Life
Hi everyone that remembers me. First thing is to say that I have Two children now, one girl and a boy. My little girl came into the world at 1 LB and 8oz, just before I left for AFGHANISTAN for a six month tour. My son came 9 months after I go home and was 5 LB and 14oz. I have been in the army since 1993, I have been all over the world and have seen great and bad things. I am very happy that I have my two children, they are my world, so that is one of the reason that I am in the army, to make their world a better place. I one other thing to say. The freedom that you and your family have, has a price on it, The price is our soilders, past and present, we are the ones that stop the snake from enter your home land, we have one cause, Freedom, we belive in it so much that we will give our lives for it, and to enshore that our family's will have it, so support our troops, wear Red on Fridays, and come out on Nov 11, because now I am a Vet, and I have losted good friends in this war for Freedom. Military
I went to boot camp in the spring of 1993 and complete the 10 week training, after that I was posted to CFB Gagetown in N.B. There I spend 7 years as a infantry soldier. 3 years in Gagetown, then I changed trades and become a Electrical Mechanical Engineer, (Vehicle Tech) I did my Vehicle Tech training in CFB Borden for 6 months, where I completed the training 2nd in my class, then I was posted to CFB Petawawa in Ontario, with 2 Svc Bn. In 1998 I deployed to Bosnia for 6 months tour, I spend alot of time out of the camp where you have a good life as of being away from all the things of home. In the 2001 I was posted to the Royal Canadian Dragoons, RCD; which are a armed Regiment (tanks and all the good stuff) there I went back to Bosnia for another 6 months tour, I had X-mas there in Bosnia. Bosnia had a lot of problems in it time but nothing like Afghanistan, I deployed 8 months after coming back from Bosnia, yes 8 months home and go again. I was deployed with the RCD Recce Sgn, KMNB. This was a real tour. Out of the 6 months there in that place I lived 4 months of it in the bad lands, out of the camp, with eating ratings and only have a brid bath every couple of days were the temp was well over 70 deg most days and getting all the dust you can eat was really hard to do. I was shoot at, had rockets go over my head and seen the worst thing that a person could see. Now I am still in Petawaw for another 9 months or so then I go to the school in Borden to Training new Vehicle Tech coming in the army, May be I see you there.
