Keith's Story
Life
After graduating from High School, worked with my dad at the Muzzle Loader Cafe. In 1972 I joined the Navy, as a Hospital Corpsman. From 1972 to 1974, stationed at Naval Hospital Camp Lejuene NC, than transferred to Naval Submarine School Groton CT. After graduating, from sub. School, I was assigned to the USS Sam Rayburn (SSBN 635) Home Ported in Groton CT/Holy Lock Scotland. After I finished my tour on Sam Rayburn I transferred to Medical Lab School, in Oakland CA after graduating Lab School, I was assigned to Naval regional Medical Center PSNS Bremerton WA. After My tour At PSNS I transferred back to Groton CT Naval Undersea Medical Institute and Graduated as a Independent Duty Hospital Corpsman (Submarines).
After Graduating from NUMI in 1976 I was assigned to the USS Lewis and Clark (SSBN 644) I served on board USS Lewis and Clark for three years than I got Tra...Expand for more
nsferred to Naval Submarine Base Bangor WA Over the next 10 years I served on board 4 more Submarines, USS John Marshal (SSN 611) USS Henry M. Jackson (SSBN 730), USS Alabama (SSBN731) as well a being assigned to PSNS Bremerton WA, and Trident Refit Facility NSB Bangor WA. In 1990 I was assigned to the First Force Service Support Group, First Marine Division In Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Dessert Storm After I returned from Desert Storm, I was assigned to the USS George Washington Carver (SSN 656) until she was decommissioned in 1993 than I was transferred to Naval Branch Medical Clinic Treasure Island CA.
I retired from the Navy in 1996 after 23.5 years, and returned to Billings MT where I have lived ever Since
After Retiring, I worked in the Security Field until Feb or 2004. I am now working at the Circle K/Holiday Station Store 385 , 3551 Ember Lane Billings, MT
