Keith's Story
Let me see what has been going over the last 20 or so years
After school, which I finished in California, I decided to join the military.
The army was the way, infantry that was lots of fun. But it was a cold war kind of military. So after several years left and decided to try civilian life again. Started doing construction, and going to school to be a paramedic.
Completed that and worked for Muskogee Co. EMS, and Cherokee Nation EMS, Gallatin Co Search and Rescue for about 11 years. Did everything from the bombing of the Murrah building to back country rescue in the Northern Rockies.
Went to NSU and got a Bachelors in Computer Science, current civilian employment is with Cherokee Nation as a software developer, been the around 5 years.
Now working on my Masters in Counter Terrorism studies through the American Military University. Have about a year to finish that, that is on hold right now.

ed more excitement so went back to military about four years ago. In that time have been to Air Assault School, Scout school, and to Sniper. Have managed to pass them all. It is tough to compete with the young guys that are at there prime. But they really hate it when the old man, me, passes them on mile 12 of a 18 mile ruck run, carrying a 60 lbs. ruck and a M-24 with ammo. That is serious motivation for the younger guys to keep up.
I am now in Iraq, somewhere in the vicinity of Baghdad. It is starting to get hot here, low 100¿s. Should be able to come home by the first of the year.
Oh yes, also have been married for 17 years to the love of my life. We have two beautiful children, Charles ¿ 2 years and Elizabeth ¿ 5 years.
My beautiful wife an accountant by degree and is home schooling our children, maybe they will be a little less on the wild side than I was while growing up.
Good to hear from you and take care
Keith
