Keitha's Story
Life
Since high school, I went down the 70's route (as it turned out.not the right one) got mixed up in too many things that I shoudn't have, and paid the consequences, more than once unfortunately.
I am currently single (divorced) and live in Bastrop,Tx. I have been here about 20 years now. I moved here from South Austin right before my youngest started kinder. She is 24 and the mother of 2 boys (one is 17 months and the baby is just barely over 3weeks!)
I also have an older daughter, she is 33 and lives in Elgin. She and her husband adoped a neworn boy and he is 7 years old.
I have worked at a family restaurant for almost 8 years now in Elgin and also attend classes at night to become a medical transcriptionist. I will graduate in Nov. and will then be able to work from home. Yea!
Update 9-23-09
I am still working at same family restaurant (10 + years now). I have been dating the same man for about 4 years (he is 8 years younger than me), he is a biker and a tool pusher for Patterson Oil, so he works 1 week out and is...Expand for more
home 1 week ( i really like that) i never did do well with having someone to answer or cater to 24/7.
I live alone and love it! except for my 7 year old dashound (Millie). My 2 youngest grandsons (1 will be 4 on Thanksgiving day and the baby turned 2 in April) usually stay the night with "gamaw" on Saturday nights. I work and stay home most of the time. My boyfriend is a true biker and we go to quite a few bike rallys. My favorite is the "Pig Roast" in Johnson City the second weekend in Oct, after that it is just too cold for me to ride regardless of leathers, and it is too damn cold to sleep in a tent. Other than that i pretty much work and come home. I did finish my medical transcription class and work from home on doctors reports when I am not at my day job. I am also probably going to start cocktail waitressing at a small bar in Elgin, Texas (same town the restaurant is) on Fri. and Sat. nights to bring some more money. I'm sure we all understand that!
Well look forward to hearing from more classmates in the future.
