Life
Well, I'll try to keep it short. Life sometimes throws us a curve ball. Ya'll know I moved to Texas shortly after high school. Went to college etc. Found the love of my life. Lauri .. a school teacher of all professions. We married in 91, two kids Connor and Claire. After 13 years of taming / calming me down, she passed on. I'm not superstitious, but no more 13 for me. She was born on the 13th, we married on the 13th, and I buried her on the 13th. You can watch the ball fly by you, or you can go out swinging. I'm still at bat in the game of life. e, Tea, or me? Something like that (my story). She asked if we had dated before because she had a bad track record for arrogant and cocky men. I told her no, she would have remembered me, but would she like to? Got her name and number. I got the date, and we were shortly married a few months later. See D Magazine for the complete story. Oh did I mention that we now have a 21 month old too. His name is Willem, and he is a Kellan jr. Now I know why my mom and teachers were so exhausted. Life is fine and moving in the right direction. I do take time to reflect and check-in. The 40Âs seem to be a great time in life for personal growth.
