Karen's Story
Left Cabrillo the last semester of my senior year (67) when my Dad was transfered to Tyndall AFB at Panama City, FL. Finished school there. Went to work with the Fed Govt. Met the man I would eventually marry. November this year will be 41 years! We have two sons,Brandon 35 and Drew 28,but no grandchildren. l Guard for 40 years, served 26 active duty. I retired in Aug 2007 and he retired Apr 2008 and we love it! Our sons both served in the military, the older in both the Air Force and the Marine Corps and the younger in the Marine Corps. The younger was deployed to both Pakistan after 9/11 and to Iraq for the initial invasion in 03. Glad both got out. My husband and I are both active in our local church where he serves as a Deacon.
