Kelli's Story
Life
Like most of us, since school I've seen and done a number of things, some good and some not good (some for which I will forever refuse to forgive myself) that have shaped my world and made me who I am. I have been allowed to meet a lot of people, see a lot of places and have a few adventures along the way.
As I read through the biographies of those that I grew up with I am met with laughter, affection and some sadness. Most surprising to me as I near my 4th decade on this ride is the startling realization that those who always seemed to cast the shadows that I allowed myself to be hidden by were no better, more important or preordained to a life of happiness than myself...Expand for more
. I just never realized until now that I always had the option to step out of the dark. As such, although I left virtually no impression upon those around me you should all know that many of you linger in my memories even though we may never have even met.
In the end I find myself not far from my roots. I live in Thornton now; I am married with two great step children and one little guy of my own. Although I spent many years in the home improvement and contractor support industry I now own and operate a wedding/prom wear rental shop here in Thornton called "Something Borrowed".
