Kelli's Story
Kelli is from Bettendorf, Iowa. Kelli's schools include Bettendorf High School, St. Ambrose Univ. (BA), Post Univ. (MS). Moved to Connecticut and raised 4 children with my late husband (Dr. Mark Lepensky) until his passing in 2013. Remarried (2015-Dr. Tony Jelsma) and moved to Sioux Center, IA where my husband is head of the biology dept. at Dordt University. Can't believe I'm back in Iowa, but glad to be closer to a few family members (Minneapolis, Pella, Davenport) for a few years. More about Kelli:"I have enjoyed homeschooling my 4 children over the past 14 years. Glad to have completed my graduate studies in August (M.S. Human Services, Summa Cum Laude)! Enjoyed my internships at Yale and St. Raphael's Hospital and my subsequent position with the hospital. But the death of both Mark's parents last summer changed our lives dramatically and am trying to fill my mother-in-law's shoes running my husband's medical practice.".
