Kellie's Story
Life
I worked in the Semi Conductor business for 10 + years. Met my husband when I moved to Texas for a job. Married in 1985. First child in 1990 (girl). Another child (girl) came along in 1996. I worked two years at Keller High School as a Computer Lab Manager (glorified teacher's aid). Probably my most rewarding job! Have been a "stay-at-home" mom for the last 3 years. When we recently moved to Austin, I got a part time job working for a banking consulting firm.
College
I attened University of Utah right out of high school for one sememster (major; physical education, wanted to be a high school coach). Then on to Utah Tech. to finish my general education. Moved to Texas where I attended North Lake College, to finish...Expand for more
more general. Then I attended University of North Texas (double major; Interior Design/Fashion Design with a building construction minor). Dropped out after my first child and have not been back (I regret this a lot).
Workplace
I started to work for National Semi-Conductor a week after high school graduation. I worked for them for 4 years. I then moved to Texas to work for Hitachi Semi-Conductor for 2 years before they layed me off. I then went to work for Boeing Semi-Conductor for 5 years. I then was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years. Went to work for Keller High School for 2 years. Then we moved to Austin, where I now have a part-time job with Alex Sheshunoff Magagement Services.
Update: Now a stay at home mom again!
