Kellie's Story
I moved back to Idaho in 2009 to be closer to family. My companion of 22 years was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers in 2006. So, we decided to come back to Boise so that she can have quality time with her sister. I have family here also so it's ok. I would rather be in Colorado but sometimes a person has to think of a loved one and put those needs in front.
I have an Associates Degree for Accounting but I found that tearing up a server or writing computer code to be a tad bit more exciting.
My career is: Software Engineer. I create computer code and programs to process all types of healthcare and medicare/medicaid forms. I am certified in Mercator Integration Broker.. This is a tool that allows me to do data mapping from one format to a propriatary format and create systems for encryption and ftp sytems, depending on which system a client uses/operating system they have. I've doing this for a long time. I didn't really think I would become such a computer "geek" Strange how things turn out. I am in the process of starting a consulti...Expand for more
ng business for data mapping and any IT system issues for healthcare.
I have a Jack Russell and American Bobtail cat. Both are just a hoot My dog's name is "Air" Jordan and my cat is Spanky. My dog is as close to a child as I want. He's spoiled rotten and he's really funny and naughty. I think my grandma must be giving him instructions from heaven. When he's naughy I think of how I used to be a little "devlish" with my grandma. As for Spanky, she'll just attack ya whenever she wants to!
Prior to moving to CO, I lived in Ventura, CA. I was a Administrative Contract Manager and also ran the dispatching/service department for a large Canon and Sharp copier company. A friend and I lived in The Keys of Ventrua. It was awesome place right on the beach. I was born in Long Beach and I don't think I will ever get used to being far from the ocean. But, the violence from LA gangs starting moving into Ventura and I decided it was time to move on.
I do have some interesting stories of wilder times...however, I best keep those under wraps for now :D
