Kelly B.'s Story
Life
I am married to my best friend & partner; wife Mila "Analyn" Brown. I have one daughter named Kai and one son Kelly III. We live in Lemoore, CA which is near Fresno in the Central Valley. It's located about three hours from Lompoc or Vandenberg Village. I currently teach at Lemoore High School in the special education department. I coached the varsity volleyball program for four years and won the CIF-CS in 2004 and placed 2nd in 2005. I was also the head coach for track & field. I currently am an assistant in both volleyball and track & field now. I hope to hear from some old Vandenberg AFB people, Vandenberg Elementary School, Loma Vista, Los Padres, Vandenberg JHS, Cabrillo HS, Fresno State University, Webster University, and National University alumni in the future. College
I attended Fresno State University from August 1977...Expand for more
to May 1982. I graduated with a BS in Finance. I also lettered in Track and Field during this time period. I then entered the U.S. Air Force and obtained my Masters Degree from Webster University in St. Louis, MO on December 1986. I also went back to school again to get my two teaching credentials after a career in finance, accounting and operations management. All I remember is studying very hard during these years to get those two hard earned pieces of paper. I found time to relax even though that was a rarity during that time. Would like to hear from any old Fresno State alumni or Webster University alumni.
Workplace
I am currently teaching at Lemoore High School which is located 33 miles south of Fresno, CA on highway 41. I switched careers from the corporate world and became a teacher sixteen years ago and enjoy it very much. I don't know why I didn't start teaching thirty five years ago.
