Kelly's Story
I'm not sure who would remember me, I went to as many schools as the district would let me! I was never happy, and always looking for "something better". Shortly after High School, I married the first Marine I could find (okay, the second Marine). We met in Feb. 1984 and Married in April 1984 (what can I say, he had really pretty blue eyes!) With him, I moved to Camp Pendleton then Camp LeJuene North Carolina. Let me sum this up.... Married at 18, got clean and sober at 20 (I have never had a LEGAL drink of alcohol) 3 kids by 23, divorced by 26. The next 10 years were diffic...Expand for more
ult, but I made it through! I learned to stop living into my past and start creating my future. I went back to college, got my degree in Business Management, I spent the last 5 years in Wisconsin (bitter cold) to raise my children, but now they are grown ( I'm a GRANDMA!) and I made the choice to move to Portland Oregon!! Yippee!!! I love Portland. This is the coolest town. Always something to do, always meeting great new people and making great new friends.
