I graduated from U of Fla with a BS in Math and married in 75. WE took off for Abilene, TX, where I taught math in Middle school while Tom finished his Master's in Bible. We got involved in a very inspiring and Bible based church in college. What really pulled me in was that the people in this group were so sincere and so completely loving and that they really lived what they believed. After Abilene, we moved to Boulder, Colo. I don't see how anyone can live by the Rockies and not think about God! It was so exciting to see snow for the first time and to live at the foot of the mtns. I loved getting snowed in and cooking choc chip cookies and playing cards all day! Also, took up snow skiing which is an all time high as far as any sport I have been involved in. We started a campus ministry with one student and in 7 years had around 300 at the U of Colorado. It was exciting to see so many young people radically change their lives! We moved a few yrs later to SF, CA to work with another church. Then moved to Boston for 2 yrs and to LA to start a church in California. It is now around 9,000 members. I got melanoma and we got out of the ministry for a while. Tom went into healthcare and I worked at a Software Co. Then in 2000 we went back into the ministry. We were in CA for 15 yrs and have many great friends there! Our daughter is livin...Expand for more
