Kelly's Story
After Graduating in 1988, I went to Austin Peay State Univ. and graduated in 1992. I then moved to Clinton, South Carolina to work as an Activity Director for NHC. I then, moved to Chicago (Oakbrook Terrace), Ill. working for Mariner Healthcare, I was then offered the Regional Position with NHC in North Augusta, SC and returned to South Carolina.
Due to a sudden change in my life circumstances, I returned home to Mt. Juliet. I met, or re-met Alex Massa (Larry Massa's younger brother) in 1998 and We got married in December of 1999. We share in the joy (and, at times, challenges) of raising three precious Sons, Colby 10, Briscoe 7, and Jayce 4.
I have learned that in spite of myself at moments, God continued(s) to be so patient with me and continued(s) to be Sovereign and Faithful even when I wasn't. I feel blessed beyond measure in every way that truly counts! In retrospect, Some of what...Expand for more
I considered my biggest regrets, turned into God's greatest gifts to Me through His Grace!
I no longer work in the Healthcare Industry. I started working with the family Co.-part-time, Gordon Construction, again in January, 3-days a-week. I love being a Mom and Wife, my 1st job and really plenty to keep me busy without anything else.
However, I do volunteer for the Hope Clinic for Women teaching Parenting Classes Mthly, attend TGBC, active in the Republican Party, just finished coaching Upward cheerleading, still enjoy tennis (Alex played at TTU), currently planning the reunion with a GREAT group of fellow '88 graduates, and continue to have a close relationship with my Parents/Siblings and Alex's family as well! As always, Family is so precious to me!
