Kelly's Story
Update Jan. 2014: In June 2011 I moved to Lewes, Delaware with a cat, dog and significant other who is now my fiancé. The move was due to a wonderful career opportunity at Beebe Medical Center (now Beebe Healthcare) as Director of Marketing and Communications. Beebe is a community healthcare system with a medical center and 7 outpatient locations. I am proud to be part of this organization. Lewes is lovely although I do miss my home on the Eastern Shore of VA (1.5 hours south of here). Life is generally good!
I am living on the Eastern Shore of Virginia now -- getting back near the bay and ocean but in a little warmer climate than RI or the NJ/PA area where I lived for more than 20 years. Our summer stretch...Expand for more

Sadly, I have to report that my sister, Kathy, who all of you South Kingstown High graduates probably remember since she was a class ahead of us, finally lost an 11-year battle with breast cancer in February 2009. That was devastating to my sisters, stepsister and stepbrothers as well as to her husband, Ken Byerly and daughter, Joy Byerly. I lost my close friend as well as my sister and I know that the other Griffin girls, Jamie and Erin, feel the same way.
