Kelly's Story

Hi friends, I was in the first graduating class at Torrey Pines. At that time there was no football stadium, and no cafeteria! We played football at San Dieguito High School. We had vending machines if we didn't bring a lunch. When I went to the 10 year reunion day after picnic, I actually got lost. Amazingly here I am at 51. In those many years I've been married to the best husband. Together we've raised two sons and one daughter, who are all adults now living responsible lives of their own. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. We've done a lot of it, having lived in California, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, Virginia, (back to California) and South Carolina. James and I decided to retire here in Sumter where it is very pleasant and peaceful. It takes 15 minutes to go through town in traffic! That is one thing YOU CAN'T SAY i...Expand for more
n San Diego! The thing I will remember the most about high school is having the same exact name as another student - the head cheerleader. On the first day of high school there was only one schedule of classes! It was the OTHER KELLY'S schedule because I was new to the school district! You would think the office would get that figured out. They did not. There was only one diploma at our graduation! I lived in San Diego prior to moving to Del Mar where I attended Anderson Elementary and Hale Junior High. Although I moved, you are special friends in those schools too! I'm a firm believer that life is what you make it. Now I enjoy life at a slower pace but thrive around happy, fun, loving people. I probably am remembered as quiet, but I have become a chatterbox!
