Kelly's Story

Hello classmates, O.K. here's my biography: I married at 20 years old and decided to start a family at 27. I now have 3 precious children my son Braxton, and two daughters Kyndall and Kandiss. Braxton enjoys riding his motorbike, camping, etc. and is quiet like I was. Kyndall's into horses like I was too and does gaming (barrel racing etc.) and is very outgoing (I don't know where that came from - lol! and Kandiss is quite the little character she just wants to do it all! She's into Tinkerbell at the moment and is dainty yet give her the opportunity and she'll be Tinkerbell riding a motorcycle through the mud! I was a stay at home Mom and loved it as nothings more important to me than being there for my kids. In 1995 we moved to the Midwest (Edina Minnesota and Kenosha Wisconsin)for 3 years due to my husbands job transfer. It was a good experience but way way too cold!(Mall of America was pretty cool though!)We decided to move back home to Sandy when Braxton turned 5 due to him starting school and wanting the kids to have the stability of staying in one area. I was thrilled to be back home & around my family again! I was married for 20 years but I divorced approximately 5 years ago. I had to make some crucial decisions at the time and it was tough beings I was a stay at home Mom for so many years and not being in the work field but I did what I had to do with what I felt was best. I knew I didn't want to give up time with my kids working full time so beings self-employment is a big thing within my family I strived for this and decided to start a housecleaning business so that I could arrange my own schedule and still do the things I wanted to do. I enjoy volunteering at my kids schools when I can. I'm also currently ...Expand for more
in the process of starting up an online business selling only organic products such as cosmetics, body & bath, cleaning supplies etc. I feel it's extremely important to stay away from things that have preservatives and chemicals in them knowing the affect they have on your health long term. This is something that I strongly believe in. I gained knowledge of this through learning about alternative medicine which personally helped me at one point in my life, so this is why I would like to help others by allowing them the opportunity to purchase products that are chemical free and build my business on values. When I'm not working I enjoy riding my horse "Navajo" listening to country music, spending time with my kiddos (especially taking my daughter Kyndall to her horse competitions, camping, and researching more on alternative medicine. I have traveled many places (including the Bahamas where I parasailed for the first and last time lol!)beings I don't like heights or the water all that much but still wanted to experience it!)I've chosen to remain in my hometown of Sandy since family is most important to me and Oregon is so beautiful. My dream is to have a horse ranch where I can live what I love! I've learned that life is so short (hard to believe its been 24 years since high school) so I try to cherish each day with the things that mean the most to me, not taking anything for granted, and choosing my friends wisely. I hope everyone is doing well! Kelly Samuel
