Kelly's Story
Life
Wow! It's been a long time since graduating from Mission. My life has been a whirlwind of events since college. I met my husband, Josh, up at Davis where he proposed to me during my senior year of college. We got married in 1996 and moved to Ohio where he attended medical school and I worked for a children's science center writing programs for school children.
Our first daughter, Emma, was born in 2000. We had moved back to Los Angeles, where Josh did a residency in radiology and I started my job as a full-time mommy:) For the next five years we lived in Pasadena and Valencia. In 2003, our b...Expand for more
eautiful daughter, Lily, was born. In 2005, we moved up to Mill Valley, CA for 1 year so Josh could go to UCSF for fellowship. Finally, in 2006 we settled in San Diego (Carmel Valley), where we gave birth to another beautiful girl, Ava.
I must say, for the past 16 years I have moved more times than I ever desired. However, the outcome is wonderful. My family is complete, Josh has a great job as a Radiologist with Kaiser San Diego and I am trying to be the best mommy my kids could ever dream of. My goal is to be as involved with our children as I can before it's too late...then I will pursue other dreams.
