Kellye's Story

Life I left LR in 1984 for the U.S. Navy. I was an air traffic controller in the military for 10 years. I lived in Sicily, Jacksonville Florida and Memphis, where i met my husband Jim (who was in the Marine Corp.) I discharged from the service and became a stay at home mom. osition at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi, MS. We moved to the area 30 days before Hurricane Katrina. Our house survived but the Hard Rock Casino took a big hit and opened 07-07-07. Jim is currently employed at the Hard Rock Casino after working for the Beau Rivage. I am an RN at a local hospital. We have 3 kids and despite the hurricane, we love it down here. We go to LR at least one time per year.
