Ken Brown:  

Ken is from Toronto, Ontario. His schools include Victoria Park Secondary High School. He later attended University of Waterloo. He works(ed) at Eco Fluid Center. More about Ken:"Born in Toronto. Moved around a bit when very young but spent most of my childhood in Victoria Village. Attended Sloane Avenue PS and then Victoria Park SS. Took 5yr Science, Technology & Trades. Tried Junior and Senior football but was tall and skinny. Worked summers at Flemington Park Golf Course and spent a summer in Algonquin Park as a Junior Naturalist. Also played hockey for York Mills and Don Mills Civitans on defense. Okay skater but no shot.Then did a BASc and MASc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Work terms at AP Parts making mufflers, Goodyear in tire QA and four terms with Texas Gulf in the Timmins copper and zinc concentrator. Worked in mech mtce, machine shop and drafting. Started to play rugby with the Porcupine Rugby Club in Timmins. Meet some great people. Continued playing rugby at Waterloo and with the Kitchener Pirates. Made the OUAA B team and Niagara District Select team. Also, Ontario Under 23 team. Later played with the Irish Canadian Rugby Club in Toronto.
