Life 50 years since graduation - I'm not even that old yet ........ am I? I left Connecticut in 1974, a couple years after getting out of the Air Force where I was a crew member flying Aero Medical Evacuation (a Medic on a plane). I spent a year or two in California, primarily San Diego, with a little time in L.A. and San Francisco. I left there one night, drove 68 hours through two major blizzards ending up in Denver, Colorado. I met some great people my first night there, and ended up staying nearly 19 years where I played music, partnered in a real estate firm and then into Oil and Gas and utilities acquisition and development. In 1991 I was sent to, of all places Connecticut, to work on a project. I rented a house on the beach in West Haven, and it was there that I reconnected with the Ocean and bought my first cruising boat, a 41' Ketch sailboat called "Outrageous".
