Ken's Story
Life
Chronology since high school:
2 years at Tech - lots of friends - not much class
1 year at PHCC - rebound time - good grades - lots of jobs
2 years at Averett - graduated "thankya Lawdee"
(jobs at DuPont, Najaars, Leggett's and Fieldale Community Center in between)
1989 - went to work for a CPA firm in Rocky Mount
1990 - got married to Kathryn Brown from Franklin County
1993 - passed the CPA exam
1996 - first born son - John Richard
1997 - went to work in Martinsville for Longwood College
1998 - second child - Erin was born
1999 - accepted a position in Farmville with Longwood College Small Busines...Expand for more

Still an active UVa athletics enthusiast (which probably explains at least part of my discontent in Blacksburg)
Active in the Farmville Baptist Church - serving as treasurer, deacon and singing in the choir.
Enjoy spending time with my family and watching our two children participate in various activities - I wish I had their energy.
I still love to fish and there's plenty of that to be done in Prince Edward County - no trout though - I have to sneak home from time to time to catch a trout with my dad.
