Ken's Story

Life Between the economic downturn, 9/11/2001, and some health problems(Multiple Sclerosis DXed in 2002)I'm waiting to decide my next move. I was fortunate enough to spend some final time with my dad who passed away In June 2003. Mom fell to cancer back in 96 while I was in my 16 hour a day career phase. To start this century I was Director, Application Engineering for Arris Group Corporation based out of my home with HQ in Atlanta. The job meant frequent travel consulting on High Speed Data & Telephony systems for the cable TV industry. For the 10 years prior to February 2000 I was with Tellabs based in Bolingbrook/Lisle, Illinois (moved to Naperville) working on Network Management products before being promoted to Program Manager ...Expand for more
responsible for their HFC telephony product. Before that I worked with various companies in the telecommunications and aviation fields as well as having an interest in government regulation issues. As for "fun", travel is still my passion and for 13 years (late 80's to mid-90's I was an avid Bulls season ticket holder. At least until the team was destroyed. The Cubs are still a frustration as I wait for the proverbial NEXT YEAR to arrive) I'm still single but hopefully I'll find the right person before I die. I think I missed my chance while at Fremd. I'm a TV/movie fan and love animals but don't currently have pets. Animals at least. I do have some pet projects. I hope I can see most of you at a future reunion. Ken
