Life! Hello to all former classmates! I'm turning 68 by the end of this year (2021) ... another totally wasted year with COVID-19... after the prior 2 years being less than fun - in 2018, I went through a life-changing event... major heart attack that required open heart surgery and 5 bypasses to keep me on the topside of the grass... thankful for the skills of the medical team that took over my life, literally, for the better part of a 6 hour operation and an 11 day stay in the hospital... but I'm back and feeling a whole lot better! I "RETIRED", in December 2003, from working at the Hamilton Fire Department in the City of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada after more than 26 years. It's hard to call myself a 'pensioner' at this point in my life, but it's certainly not hard to collect that pension check each month... What to do? I decided to go back to school and finish off my MBA, but really didn't want to enter any formal 'corporate' world, so I earned my Real Estate license and have been working as an independent "Sales Representative" associated with Royal LePage State Realty in Ancaster / Hamilt...Expand for more
