Ken's Story
Life
Still doing the "dad"thing....sort of. All the kids are done with college, one mega-talented graphic artist and IT top boss for game creation for IGT; One Dr. specializing in Chinese Medicine and Nutrition; one super jock fitness trainer with history/PT degrees; one computer brain, one jack of all trades, one deceased far too young....and now 1 autistic grandchild to go; ex-military, ex-university professor/administrator; ex-politico (but not one of those lifetime incumbents); ex-husband, but back in the saddle with my "first" (another Del Oro graduate), 38 total years as of 5/2020); ex-computer-hater, but look where I am right now; ex-obsessed athlete, but now would rather rest and watch my fantastic daughter kick rears on the soccer field...now rugby for cryin' out loud...or competitive mountain biking; and ex-corporate/social/political climber and crusader...Expand for more
that found out that my children are more important than me! Hey...it's life. Retired and enjoying my kids, grandkids, and classic cars.
School
Biggest crush? Too many to count. Most inspirational teacher? Mr. Livsey, Bonner, Moeller, Barnes. Would I do it all over again? About 50%. Many, many things I would have done differently...especially the stupid choices and wasting of time. Facing the same life again I would keep my heart in check and be more disciplined. Maybe. :)
