Ken's Story
Life
I teach humanities and history at a magnet high school in the city and am currently finishing graduate school at Northwestern. I have travelled extensively by bike. This next summer, a friend of mine and I are going to bike through the Baltics to Italy and then take the ferry into Athens. friend to go with him (it's the same way I ended up skydiving). Luckily for me, my work involves reading and teaching many of the books I enjoy. My humanities class is currently on a unit in which we study free-speech law, civic engagement and the role of the news media in a democracy. We just finished studying Chicago history, literature and architecture.
