Ken's Story
30 years ago. Doesn't seem like that long. I joined the Navy during Christmas break of our senior year and left Vicksburg 3 weeks after we graduated. I went to Orlando FL for boot camp, then Memphis TN for aviation electronic school. I also went to Virginia Beach VA, San Diego CA, and Jacksonville FL for advanced electronic schools. On my 19th birthday I went to Yokosuka Japan for 4 years. I had a blast over seas, went to Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippine Islands.

to work for Entergy at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. That was 24 years ago. I'm an Instrument Tech here. I work on reactor protection systems among other things.
I've been married for 16 years. I have a 24 year old stepson, who just graduated from Ole Miss and a 14 year old daughter who's in the 8th grade at St Al..
Its fun looking thru classmates, seeing people that you knew and sometimes wonder what ever happen to. I guess the internet and cell phones aren't so bad, wouldn't it have been cool to have them back then?
