Ken's Story
Howdy....
After LHHS graduation my chronology goes something like this: 2yrs at Fullerton J.C.; 1yr San Diego State; married 1966; 2yrs active duty in U.S. Navy (land based at San Miguel in the Philippines); celebrated graduation from San Diego State University in 1971 by selling our cars and traveling in Europe for 3 months; after returning from that "waste of time" (my father's words) I went to work as a pencil pusher for the County of San Diego for 30+ yrs (6yrs Health Dept., 12yrs Coroner's Office, and 12yrs Publi...Expand for more
c Administrator/Public Guardian's Office) and retired in 2002....Hallelujah! During those 30yrs with the County...thanks to a hard working wife...I managed to stay in the Navy Reserves for 26yrs. We delayed children for 6yrs, but eventually had a son and daughter who now have their own families. I have been involved with the shooting sports off and on for years, and now spend a fair portion of retirement at the skeet and trap range. I'm still not very good at it, but I love making a lot of noise!
