Ken's Story
Who Am I? That's a really good question? Yes indeed.hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
In 1979, at School 66, I hung with Jim Whiteside. HE'S THE GREATEST! I would love to find him again. Anyway's back then, (that's funny, back then) like it was in the 60's or something? Believe it or not, 66's lunchroom was segregated. Whitey sat with whitey and the brotha's wit the brotha's. Well, Me and Jim hung from the time we started school til we left, except in the lunchroom of coarse. One day while sitting at the Nerd Table, i looked around the room and notice it, (how everyone was split up).
So, the next day I bought my lunch and sat at Whiteside's table and started eating. The whole cafeteria was silent, everyone at the table stopped eating, talking. jim sat down and looked around and at the table and said, "He's i-ight"! From that day on, I was welcome! Of coarse Whitey didn't like it. They were very upset with me. TOO BAD! I learned an awful lot that year and I'm still learning. Donald Suarez hung with Whiteside before I became part of the crew. Who Am I?
I haven't changed much since McKinley. I've lived my life loving ONE Young Lady and IT HASN'T DIED! I would marry her in a heartbeat, if she would have me. I'm still single, no kids and can't hace any.
To anyone out there who may know or not, Jimmie Lee Paige, Jr. was, IS my Best friend from Mac High! When POPPA went to get his class ring, I asked about the prom and the yearbook? But, his crib (haha), couldn't afford them and he had to choose one. I didn't know about hard times in other families, so I got him a yearbook and took him to the prom. Also, I gave my COLLECTION to POPPA. The collection I'm referrin...Expand for more
g too is my, "ELVIS PRESLEY ORIGINAL" LP collection. Not sure on the value, lost track, maybe $5-$6,000?
Now, I'm not much on wearing jewelry but, one year I was making good money and decided to buy a watch. I ended up with a MOVADO, esperanza. It sells for $1200. & paid onlt $800. Anyway's, Poppa came to visit about a year later and while we were chillin' in his parents front room, he notice my watch. He said, "What's That"? (Just a watch). Can I see it? (Sure, I unclipped it and tossed it to him). So he was like, "How Much Was It"? (it was up there). About $200? (I said, naw, a little more than that). $400? (It sells for $1200 but I got it for $800 at Kay Jewelers). He couldn't believe it. So, somewhere in 2002 or '03, He drove up from California to Buffalo and that's when I handed over my COLLECTION and yes, my "MOVADO". I knew that day he liked my watch, I knew he would end up with it. It's not like he can't afford it, ok, he works in an Oil Refinery in LA and makes about $40 and hour. That was about 3 years ago, so I don't know what it is now? Doesn't matter. (I just had no intentions on leaving it with any neices or nephews). I didn't owe POPPA any money or anything NOR did he ask!
Read below. Maybe this will explain it?

Who Am I? A very good question folks.
Have I made a difference in anyone's lives? I don't think so.
