Sharon's Story

Life Married in 1983 - 2 girls - Kari graduates this year then off to Univ of Mary Washington - Kelsey is 15- live in Northern Virginia about 40 miles west of DC at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains - 1 year breast cancer survivor -- woohoo!!!! Hair growing - survived chemo very well -- a few more doses of herceptin and I intend to be cancer free for the rest of my life. I've turned into an exercise freak - even work at the gym for fun a few days a week - will post a new pictu...Expand for more

Aside from this week (VT tragedy which is huge around here - many of our friends attended and my daughter's friends attend VA Tech) - it has been a great year -starting with the Colts winning the Super Bowl - go Peyton!! - An awesome Josh Groban concert with my daughter - a company-paid cruise to Cozumel and an upcoming trip to Europe in June - much, much different from last year....an experience like cancer sure changes things.... appreciate every day.
