Ken's Story
In terms of personality not much has changed. Physically a lot has changed but age is hard to conquer. I enjoyed high school, college, military service, being a father, and have really enjoyed life in general. I have strong family values and still remain in close contact with all family members. I was lucky as a father being blessed with 4 great kids and 3 wonderful grandchildren. Not so lucky in relationships - on my second marriage. I continue to be very active both mentally and physically. I enjoy sports in many ways - participant, spectator, and coach. soccer, baseball, tennis. But, the thing I probably enjoy most is just being with friends. I am ready for retirement but have been scared off by the economy. Enough about me.
I now have been enjoying retirement for 10+ years. I am still doing and enjoying much of the same things that I did when I was working and not sure how I ever had time to work. I am not as involved with youth activities, our kids have grown up and become adults. But, I am doing more traveling, which I enjoy. I am still losing the battle to that age thing and wishing that I had retired sooner.
And I am looking forward to our next class reunion.
