Ken's Story
This is a picture of gigin' in downtown Lodi, CA, for their annual Farmers' Market (One of my favorite gigs.) The temperature was 105 degrees that day. This year, I'm celebrating 50 years of playing gigs. I played my first gig with my rock band in 1969 at MacGregor Jr. High School. What a long fun trip it's been. I now compete with young people for gigs. I maybe older and not as good looking, but I can outplay most of them (age has its advantage in more practice time.) Notice the home made PA speakers in the picture. I built these years ago and have used them on lots gigs. The boxes are...Expand for more
ported and tunes to 37 Hz (for a little thicker crooner low end.) If you're curious about what I play go to Kenteel dot com (no space between my first and last name.) You'll automatically be redirected to soundcloud from there. To all of my fellow NHS alumnus, I wish you well, and hope that life has offered nice adventures for you. You now are old and hopefully wise. Help the next generation with your wisdom. Count your blessings everyday, get some physical exercise and watch your calories. Drink your coffee, and thank God for the good things that you've had. Peace and Love, my friends.
