Daughter Eve is a Clinical Psychologist working in St John, New Brunswick, Canada. Son Kurt is a professor of German Studies at Washington U. in Saint Louis, Mo. Each has a spouse and one daughter
Me
I taught Philosophy & Religion courses at Mary Baldwin College/University and The University of Virginia. Since I'm also an ordained minister in The United Methodist Church, I do some preaching and visiting in a local church.
I'm a graduate of Wittenberg U undergrad & Boston U grad.

I started high school at Devilbiss & was in the choir, then moved from Toledo to Columbus after that first year.
Since retirement I've taught some (unpaid) adult education courses (college level, but no tests or papers to grade!) and am on the board of a nonprofit that provides low-cost supportive housing for people with mental health and/or drug dependency issues.
