Kenneth's Story
Attended and partied out at UNC-Wilmington. Threw it away... entered the Navy as Nuclear Electronics Tech and stuck it out. Narrowly missed Desert Shield. Married in 89... had six kiddo's Anna, Lily, Daniel, Mark, Mary.. and Andrew (yes with the same woman) She went a little kooky.. divorced, I remarried her (hey.. I really tried here folks) then she wanted to leave again so... sob story.. blah blah... but it is okay ya'll, my conscience is clear and my kids LOVE me so that is the main thing.
I can't believe I'm 43. But time flies fast.
Woked in the Nuclear field from 90 to 97, long hours so I joined up with SBC, which grew fast and eventually bought at&t and took on their name.
All is good in Texas. I miss North Carolina.. but Texas is GREAT.
Hope the friends I knew through some crazy days and parties, grew up too. I hope you have God in your life.. look. I'm talking JESUS here. I'm not talking religion. If what He says is true, which I believe... we don't have all that much time to really live (and die) like we believe it.
You don't want to wake up in eternity and realizethat all of those chances to "listen".... were blown.
If you want to know what that feels like, there are plenty of testimonies on Youtube of those that went there, thought "oh sh,I'm not supposed to be HERE" but ...Expand for more
got a second chance.
So. am I a "Jesus Freak"? I guess if I care enough to remind people that the world has been saved by the greatest friend a man or woman can have, and if for some reason people want to occasionally look down on me or hate me for it.. then yeah I am and it's no big deal.
I would say that I turned out pretty normal. We can only live what we know. Can't control what other people sometimes do... only our reaction to it.
What is more important than eternity amigos?
I haven'y had this on my mind this whole time ya'll.. but when people around you start dying, and your kids are getting WAY TOO OLD TOO FAST... you start to think about what really matters.
Eternity maybe... since it is what it is?
When ya get there, the clock reads whatever. Multiply your time on this Earth by a million and look at the clock again. It didn't move. You would hate to be spending it thinking "If only I had listened.."

There are plenty of people that have a few things to say.
Of all your religions and views, only one ever prophesied he would come, where he indeed came, did what he did, then came back and told us more.
If it is all true, it might be just a tad important to deal with yourself today.
Not preaching here folks. Just being as real as I can be.
