Life
After I graduated from the Brook on May 21, 1974, I joined the army and on June 20,1974, I was sent to Fort Polk, La. for basic training. I was trained as a diesel mechanic, working on tanks,APC's and wheel vehicles. After serving three years and receiving an honorable discharged, I was released on June 19, 1977. Five days after being discharged from the army, I moved to Flint MI. to work for Fisher Body. Fisher Body was a subdivison of General motors, were I worked as a mig and spot welder....Expand for more
I was laid off in Sept.1979 and moved back to Houston soon after. I worked for Entex gas company in construction for awhile and then I worked for Montgomery Ward in the warehouse. I worked for the postal service for 21 years, before starting my own business. I bought a Jani-King franhise and did that until I realized that I don't like working nights. Now I'm an independent contractor.
I got married in Dec. 1992 and had a son. Four and a half years later I got a divorce and today remain single.
