Kenneth's Story
Life
1979-2000 U.S. Army (retired in Feb 2000). I am now working for the U.S. Postal Service in Franklin, La. I taught high school Army ROTC 9-12 grades for about 16 months. Who would have thought that I would be a teacher. I married Brenda Doty and we divorced 6 1/2 years later. We had a girl and a boy together. They are now 21 and 18. Remarried Diana Conrad from Marlow, Okla with 2 step daughters. Not a bad life for a cajun boy from the swamps who just happened to venture into the hills of Oklahoma for a few years. Workplace
I joined the Army right out of high school and spent 21 years giving my life for my country and fighting for the freedom of my family and friends. Freedom is not free. Someone has to pay. After my military career, I taught ROTC in a high school in Baldwin and Franklin, La. When I got the call from the Postal Service to become a mailman, I could not refuse. I have been with the Postal Service for 4 years now as a City Mail Carrier and part time supervisor.
