Kenneth's Story
well,
After High School, I joined the Army (ours)and stayed in until 1988. While in the army I was stationed at Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Germany, and Korea. My final duty station was in Los Angeles as an Army Recruiter covering the North Long Beach-Paramount-Compton Area.
I left the Army and started working for the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office and then transitioned into the jail system but did stints in the transportation element (was the Sergeant in-charge) and...Expand for more
was a hostage negotiator.
In the year 2000, the county was in panic about Y2K and I was assigned to the readiness team. My military training with Data Systems was found useful to the cause and I was offered a non-badged IT Management position (think,think,think, should I?) so I took the IT position and worked until I retired from the county in Sept. 2008.
I now live a block away from our high school with a beautiful wife in a beautiful home and am beaufifully bored to death!
