Kenneth's Story
Life
I've spent the past 22 years in the telcom industry. I started right before my son was born. I've been the Ameritech (now AT&T) Chairman's Award winner, and laid off after the merger. I worked for AT&T Broadband, another merger, another departmental wide layoff. So I moved my family to Louisville, and now work for BellSouth (well we are AT&T again!). ian. My son is 25, and 7 ft tall, my daughter is 17, and over 6 ft. Both amazing kids, and more than I deserve. My son nearly has his bachelors in 3D animation and game design, and my daughter is now driving, and in national honors.
Maybe I'll get back to engineering again, but jobs like that lead to those merger layoffs, so maybe I'll be holed up where I am a while. Louisville is a great place, but I do miss my old friends.
