Kenneth's Story

In '68' I spent the summer (as I had in 66 & 67) paving driveways. As things slowed down for the winter I went to help a friends father build a house. I got interested in the carpentry trade. I worked for several framing contractors before landing a job with a custom home builder. I worked for him for 9 years before starting my own business in 1980. Still in business but pretty much semi-retired. 1970 brought the big change in my life when I meet Vicky Bennett (Lincoln HS) Some of you may know her as she spent a lot of time with kids ...Expand for more
from Ingraham. Got married in Feb. 73 with kids following in 74 & 76. Bought 6 acres, built a house in 79 just east of Mill Creek. Had 2 more kids 85 & 87. They are all thru college & have good jobs.(yea) Now it's just Vicky and I in our house in the South Everett area. Looking at the Snohomish Valley and the Cascade Mountains. As a hobby I started umpiring baseball and softball in 1984. Trying at times but still enjoyable. Also refereed soccer and volleyball for several years. Get to do a little traveling once in a while! Life's Good.
