Hi La Feria Classmates! As you can see by the photo I'm not alone, that's my wife, Geraldine. I don't believe I have a picture of just myself. Geraldine and I will be celebrating our 49th anniversary on my birthday this March 31st. We have 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 due in September. Some of you know that we lost our first child, Diana in July 2005, and she was only 42 years old. I'm still working and have no idea when or if I'll ever retire. When you work in the produce business, as I have for 43 years, there isn't a retirement savings plan set-up for you. One has to do their own savings for retirement... need I say more! In going back to talking about our family, Geraldine and I are very fortunate to have all of our family right here in Texas with most of them here in the Valley. At this time, we have 3 grandsons in college full-time, and a granddaughter and grandson taking college courses along with working. One of the 3 grandsons is at the Ross University Medical School in Portsmouth, Dominica. He, Matthew plans to be a Pediatric Endocrinologist.
