Kenneth's Story
Entered the Air Force a little over a week after graduation. After a year in fire control systems training for the F4 Phantom received orders for Vietnam. Subsequently stationed in California, Colorado, North Carolina, and Thailand, where I met my wife of of 49 years. attended SCC's Mechanical Engineering Technology course. That led to a job with the US Bureau of Mines Spokane Research Lab as a technical illustrator and draftsman. Transitioned from a drafting table to a computer in 1987. The last 15 years or so I specialized in illustrations, 3D modeling, and animation for Spokane, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh labs. I retired the last day of 2020 after 39 years, 46 total federal.
