Kenneth's Story
While at Millikan, I was a biology/zoology/art major. I went to LBCC and CSULB and received a BFA in Art / Illustration.
While my dream job was to be an animator or background painter for Walt Disney Studio, I have worked at Disneyland for the past 31 years. While at Disneyland, I have been able to travel all over the world to study art. I have been to China 11 times studying traditional Chinese watercolor painting at the Academy Chinese Painting Beijing. he daughter of Deng Xiaopeng ( the most powerful ruler of China during the 1980's. I saw and experience so much about China when most was afraid to visit. I also have been able to visit Europe 3 times to study art. I know the Louvre Museum and Orsay Museum very well in Paris. I was so happy to see so many of the paintings I learned about in art history. My most favorite art teacher at Millikan was Mr. Jenkins. I wish I could have shared my experiences with him. He was so passionate about painting and art history.
