Kenneth's Story
Just moved to Wichita Ks to take a position with Learjet. The past 13 years I lived and worked in the Waco area for a defense contractor, L-3 Communications. About a year after graduation from MWHS, I entered the USAF. I did a year at good old Can-Tex before opting for the military in May of 1975. I completed the 4 year stint and opted to return to home. A short year in Tulsa Oklahoma at a tech school and married an okie before returning to Mineral Wells to work and live for a couple of years. ten years in Ft Worth and six in Wichita Falls. During those years I managed to get a bachelors degree from Texas A&M Commerce (formerly East Texas State). After 22 years of marriage to the okie we mutually agreed to call it quits about 4 years ago. I'm Pa to 3 kids, Nikki 25, Lindsay 22 and Jake 17. I'm Pappy to 5 grandkids: Shelby, Dalton, Lilly, Dallas and Kendolyn. I remarried Carol from Michigan two years ago and she and I are finally and currently enjoying the empty nest life here in Wichita Ks. Leaving the great state of Texas for the first time in my life was a real hard step but hey, it was a job and thus far it doesn't seem too bad in Wichita.
