Kennette's Story
Hello fellow Oakers! I have probably seen most of you in the last 10 years, but for those of you I haven't, here is some info. I have been a Registered Nurse for the last 22 years at Mercy Medical Center. I have worked in most departments and I currently work in the O.R. Recovery Room. I spent 12 years in O.B. and after a few in middle management remembered why I didn't like middle management and went back to hands-on patient care. I am very happily married to the sweetest, hottest guy ever. We have four daughters. Our oldest is on her own and working and in college. Our younger three are 12, 10, and 8. ge organic garden and recently added some laying hens to the family. They are only about 10 weeks old, but we should have eggs by July. Life and time are going by so fast! We'd just like it to slow down a little! My husband, Jim, is a stay-at-home dad and handyman. Our home has had great makeovers at his hands, and our backyard sports a swimming pool with a pool deck he designed and built, basketball court, outdoor kitchen, playground, lots of raised garden beds, and most recently, a very fancy chicken coop and run. Our home is geared toward activities for our children and their friends so the house is never quiet. I hope to see you all at the 25 year reunion! Kennette
