I have spent 25+ years as a results-oriented health, safety and environmental (HSE) professional skilled in leadership and labor relations, worker's compensation case management, and industrial loss control in support of creative, well-managed and highly-motivated Corporations. Responsibilities have included the development and administration of occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures within the manufacturing, construction and engineering departments of corporate headquarters and their subsidiaries. I have conducted hundreds of safety inspections and audits and identified hazards and created procedures to eliminate or attenuate them. I ensured compliance with all OSHA regulations and facilitated or conducted all mandated local, state and federal training. I established employee-management safety committees at manufacturing and construction sites. I have implemented corporate safety philosophy and goals and have provided management oversight on workers' compensation claims. Currently, I lead a staff of almost twenty HSE professionals who have day-to-day mission of ensuring the successful health, safety and environmental process on their construction project sites.
Prior to my Occupational HSE career, I spent several years as a Registered Trauma Nurse in Hospital Emergency Rooms and freestanding Minor Emergency Care clinics.
Additionally, throughout my 30 year military career, I served as the Oklahoma Army National Guard State Occupational Health Nurse with oversight responsibility for all Oklahoma Army National Guard soldier and civilian employee Health, Safety and Occupational Health issues and as the Safety Officer for 90th Troop Command, Joint Forces Headquarters, with oversight responsibility for all soldier HSE issues.
Most importantly, I'm married to a beautiful woman named Kelly and I have four amazing sons names Jacob, Eric, Eli and Rob. Without these five people in my life, none of the rest of it would really matter...
