Kent's Story
Went to Vietnam as National Guard in 69. Carried a 60 Machine Gun in the bush even tho I trained on an 81 M.M. Mortar for 3 years, classifying as expert. Went Regular Army and a computer job at Bien Hoa. Came home in March 70 and married Joyce Kelley. We headed off to Virginia where I was stationed at Ft. 8 years as manager. Changed careers and went to Boeing in 87, retiring from Spirit after 25 years. Now living in Andover, Ks.
Have had over 30 classic and muscle cars, drag racing 3 of them. Hobbies are #1, building a 427 out of a 454 and a 396 crankshaft for my son's 82 Z28. #2. Music. Have my own juke box and over 8,000 albums. Have played car shows in this area for 12 years and do a lot of recording for people. We have 3 kids, 9 grands and 3 greats.
