Kerby's Story

Life Hi, Well a lot has taken place since I left Madison. I went to Community College for a few years to study Criminal Justice, and a funny thing happened. I flunked out by earning my fifth D and a stunning 2.22 GPA, so as you can see I did not put too much effort there, and didn't loose too much sleep. I stayed at my parents house for about 4 months following my exit from PCC, and then decided to go to Warner Pacific College to study Business. Not excactly my first choice when I look back on it, but what are you going ta do? I graduated with a degree in Business, but not before going to Mexico three times to help build houses for some unfortunate Mexicans and their families. Those were some fun 36 hour bus rides there and back let me tell ya. No sleep for me in those spans. After graduation, I did nothing that involved that sheet of paper that tells me that I graduated with a Business degree, you porbably wouldn't be able to tell yourselves if you were around me if I didn't tell ya. I started with a pretty cool summer job at a place down in Crestline, California called Thousandpines Christian Conference Center, After that I rounded out 2004 with a couple of jobs involving calling people over the phone to give political serveys (It gets funny after a while when people get mad at you when you call during diner to ask if they are Democrat or Republican) then I stood outside mall areas with a bell and a red jacket taking donations from people in the malls. From there I took a college program job at Disney World. Not excactly the best time of my life, but after that long 7 month journey through my experience there, I came back to Portland for a few months where I worked for Duck Delivery Produce. After that I moved to Arizona, so that I could build trails with the SCC(Student Conservation Corps). I returened to Portland after two 8 week sessions down there and took temp jobs with Rovers Security, where I sold tickest at the 2006 Rose festival, and did some security work at PIR over a weekend before I decided to head down to Cannon Beach, Oregon where I am right now too work for the Cannon Beach Conference Center. I plan to attend Ecola Bible College either this year or next year. Chow, Kerby School List of Schools 1. Fergoson Easily Grade School 2. 72nd Elementary School Grad School 3. Hoover Grand School 4. Sherwood Park Grade School 5. J.W. Coon Grand School 6. Chelderland Middle School 7. Gregory Hieghts Middle School 8. Madison Highschool Highschool 1. Biggest Crush: during my freshmen year, I had a big crush on an asian gal by the name of Iline Cha 2. A few teachers inspired me such as: Ms. Momphry during my days at Fergasun Easily, Ms. McKnight at J.W. Coon, and Mrs. Dunlap at Madison Highschool. 3. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have quite Wrestling, Football, Baseball, and Track. I didn't have a lot of confidence back then. Now I don't give damn what others think of me. 4.My happiest moment was graduating from Madison because I really wanted to get away from there, and I would have to say that my days in the 2nd grade at Hoover is tied with the other memory. I really enjoyed my time at Hoover. My craziest time was my senior year of Highschool, with my parents devorcing, and loosing two grandparents a month before graduating was hard to deal with. I was really depressed, and I almost didn't graduate because of my bad attendance. I didn't really care at that time. My funniest times was anytime I got to hang out with the McLeans. Those guys were funny, and were a bright spot on my otherwise depressing highschool experience. College 1. Portland Community Colleg...Expand for more
e between 1999-2001, trying to get my Criminal Justince Degree, but wond up on academic probation 2.Warner Pacific between 2002-2004. I recieved a B.S. in Business Administration. 3.During my college days, I lived on campus with 5 roomates, and all were completely different in their own ways. I lived with Dan "Zona" Erhart. Zona was givin to him because he was from Arizona. Then there is Jeremiah Ford, one of the most sarcastic people I have met. He can be funny at times, but get on you butt for not cleaning things. He got married upon leaving the apartment in the summer of 2002. Jonathon Weems. Very open person. He can get on your nerves easily, but a good person. Caleb Colver, I lived with him my entire Junior year. He was also my teamated in the Spring of 2002, and we comprised the second worse intermeural basketball team to play that season. We beat the worst by 1 point, but it was fun. Me and Caleb didn't talk much, mainly becuase I'm a quiet person. Finally there was David Halland, who I got along with good as far as I was concerned, but I here he had a grundge against me becuase of my cleaning habbits, but that was okay. I moved off campus during my senior year, and began to live with Matthew Mclean, Metrix McCarty, and my landlord John Tarter. 4.As far as the Cuisine, I was the cuisine. I worked at the cafeteria 2 and half years before, and all they through my Warner Pacific College experience. The food was very bad when it was bad, but can be pretty good when new management came in, but it would eventually go back to sucking after a while. 5.I had only one all nighter, becuase I didn't procrastinate my homework, so I didn't have to stay up all night to do one big think due on the next day. My one overnighter came during the Spring of my Senior year becuase I was rushing to graduate, and I had 20 credits on paper, which didn't include 2 credits of practicum that I had to finish up from the fall before, and I had to challange Accounting 211 by studying all semester to take a one and out test at the end. That was a very intense semester, but I actually made it throught with a 3.0 gpa. Workplace 1.Water Burou from 6/96 to 7/96 just a summer job doing landscape around the resevours. 2.Taco Bell.
