Kerrie Reay:  

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta my schools were Belfast Elementary, Sir John Franklin Junior High, and Crescent Heights High School. I left Calgary in 1981 to return to school moving to Prince George, BC to attend the College of New Caledonia and then to Burnaby to finish my Criminology degree at Simon Fraser University. I was hired by BC Corrections Jan 28, 1985 in PG and transferred to Terrace, BC later that year to work as a Youth/Adult Probation Officer, Parole Officer, Family Court Counsellor and in 1987 became a Local Director. Eventually I was responsible from Kitimat to the Yukon Boarder and the Nass Valley to Burns Lake. In 1989 I met my husband in March and we were married in September. We lived in Terrace until 2003 when I took on Local Director position in Kamloops and later that year we moved to Chilliwack to do the same. In 2008, we moved to Sooke BC in my new role as a Project Manager at Headquarters in Victoria. With the Sooke municipal election in November 2011, I decided to run for Council and was successful and was re-elected in November 2014.
