After high school I joined the military and went to the desert almost immediately. It WAS wha it WAS. A lot of people went. I had hardly unpacked my bags before it was over. Still, some died and that was unfortunate but, it WAS what it WAS. Most of life as I saw it and still do revolves around ideals. In that, there is hope. Money was never a problem getting yet obtaining peace and happiness these days is nearly impossible. How, then, could money be something that need be chased? If you have two dollars in your pocket, you have no excuse not to have a four dollar plan and, unless you are a pimp or a drug dealer, you have no legitimate reason to expect eight dollars from anything that you only put two dollars worth of work into. Anyway, love people and love yourself enough to be considerate of others. Start at home. It seems strange that many can kiss the hand that strikes them but turn around and bite the hand that feeds them. That bit is for the women AND the men. The Calling: My story is not unlike everybody else's story. It is my belief that we all graduated high school and had in mind that life out from under the roof of our parents was somehow easier. We made our own preset rules and were somewhat disappointed to found out that the world had its own and regarded our none at all. Nonetheless, we all pressed on. Some are no longer with us whether is was the misfortune of ill circumstance or the meeting of that final appointment that we all will make someday. We do not know. Fortunately, most are still with us pressing on to whatever calling we hope to reach. Here comes my opinion.
