Kerry's Story
Hey guys,
Wow! Almost 20 years! It just doesn't seem possible. I have yet to attend one of our reunions. I don't know why - maybe I just prefer to remember us all the way we were in high school? It's great to read that so many of you turned out so well and have such great lives! Kudos to all of you. I never left Ripon (lucky me). Right after high school I began working as a CNA and soon found out that I HATED working weekends and holidays. For the last 18 years I have been working at PGI, INC. in Green Lake. We manufacture fire fighter's clothing. We even made clothing for the movie "Backdraft" - cool - huh?
I am currently working in the shipping department. Not a glamorous job by any means, but it is a nice place to work, and it pays o.k. I have a husband to earn the real money! HA HA!!! It's also nice because I get to work with Dawn Weber (Thiel) everyday - many of you will recall she is one of my good friends from school.

got married almost 7 years ago to a great guy. He graduated RHS in 1983. His name is Pat Thiel. He is a distant cousin of Dawn's (hence the reason I now have her maiden name). Poor girl that Dawn - she just can't get rid of me! Pat & I built a new house 4 years ago. That is a VERY interesting experience!?! We don't have any children together, nor do we plan to, but I am stepmom to Pat's three kids from his previous marriage. Tyler (19), Kaitlun (16), and youngest daughter Bobbie Lee (13). Great kids! I do have 5 "babies" of my own, but they're "fur babies". Jake the 135 lb. chocolate lab, Emily the mutt, Izzy the "busy" cat, Harley the "sweetheart" cat, and Abner "the cat from hell"! Oh my - I can't imagine having kids - the pets keep me busy enough!
Anyway, life has been pretty good. Who knows - maybe I'll actaully come to the 20th reuinon and come and catch up with all of you. It would be good to see you all again! Take care.
